What Outdoor Karting at BuggyZone Looks Like
Our outdoor karting track in Cluj-Napoca is a completely different experience from indoor karting. On a private 15-minute drive from the city center, you get a real outdoor track, electric ATVs for younger kids, and Kayo 200 karts with a 13 HP engine for teens and adults. The location is the same as our buggy tours, ATV tours, and team-building activities.
The Kayo 200 karts are built for outdoor use: solid chassis, adjustable suspension, and enough power to feel the adrenaline — but with speed limiters set to the right level for each age group. For younger kids, the electric ATVs give the same sense of control and freedom, but at reduced speed and with easy-to-use controls. Every session is a standard 10 minutes — perfect as a trial run, or as a complement to a buggy tour.
Unlike indoor tracks, at BuggyZone you drive under open sky, on natural terrain, with corners and elevation changes that make every lap memorable. Ideal for families who want to be outdoors, friends looking for adrenaline without serious competition, or as a short and intense finale to a full day of buggy riding.

Who Outdoor Karting Is For
The track is suitable for anyone from age 6 — small children ride the electric ATVs, and from 12 up they can try the Kayo karts. No experience or driving license needed. We run sessions for families, birthday parties, friend groups, and corporate team-building (combined with buggy tours for full-day events). For large groups or private events we can reserve the track exclusively — message us on WhatsApp for a custom quote.

How much does a karting session in Cluj cost?

A 10-minute session on the kids electric ATV costs 45 RON. A 10-minute session on the Kayo 200 kart costs 90 RON. Payment is cash or card on site after the session.
What is the minimum age?

The electric ATVs are suitable from age 6. The Kayo 200 kart is for older kids, teens, and adults — generally from age 12, depending on height and confidence. Under-18 riders need a parent present to sign consent.
Do I need to book in advance?

Yes. Spots are limited and we run sessions in turns. Book via WhatsApp or our booking page at least a few hours ahead. For groups or weekends, 2-3 days is recommended.
What if it rains?

The track is outdoor, so light rain is fine (it is part of the experience). In case of a storm we reschedule for free to a date that works for you — no penalty.
Can I combine karting with a buggy tour?

Yes — that is actually our favourite combo. Same location, so you can do a buggy tour in the morning and a few karting sessions in the afternoon. WhatsApp us for combined packages.
