Escape rooms reward logic, paintball rewards aggression, board-game cafes reward extroversion — the same hierarchies that exist in the office tend to re-emerge in those formats. Off-road buggy team-building works differently because no one comes in with skills. Driving a buggy through a forest trail is novel for almost everyone, which flattens the playing field and lets quieter team members shine.
We have run team-building events for companies of 8 to 80+ — Bucharest tech firms, EU-headquartered consultancies running offsite weeks in Cluj, hotel chains booking out the entire site for new-hire onboarding. The format we recommend most: 90 minutes of buggy paired rotation (so colleagues actually swap drivers and passengers), 30 minutes for a debrief with refreshments at our chill area, and an optional 30-minute outdoor karting block for energy at the end.
